Selecting High Definition TV When selecting high definition TV, make sure that the unit has both the combination tuners of NTSC / ATSC. The Analog TV uses NTSC tuner. As of February 17 2009, broadcasting stations will stop transmitting analog programs. When that happens, only digital programs will be sent over-the-air. Televisions that receive signals through antennas will not work unless they have ATSC digital tuners or equipped with special converter boxes. |
